We are Kilner ® Proud of our history & heritage The original Kilner ® Jar, first invented by John Kilner and Co. in 1842 in England, is as much- loved and successful now as it was over 180 years ago. Its long-lasting popularity is owed to its consistent high quality product range which can be relied upon to successfully can and preserve fruit and vegetables. Over many years we have generated a loyal customer base who insist on buying Kilner ® - guided by the authentic brand logo for reassurance of the genuine product.

We are relevant

Global issues such as reducing plastic consumption, food waste and preparation time and making homemade healthier produce from scratch are at the forefront of our product development. Over the past two years we have all been forced to spend more time at home where focus has turned to kitchen culinary creations and organisation along with forming new hobbies - all of which have a direct effect on the Kilner ® offerings. Increased home-made foods from scratch and canning has specifically seen an added surge in popularity.

Innovation Kilner ® thrives on innovation. Our dedicated in-house design team travel the world in search of inspiration and key trends that can be applied to new product developments. Constantly aspiring to create new and individual products that are appealing, functional and practical to use time and time again.

Social Media Engagement

We are storytellers and as social media works its way deeper into people’s lives it’s important that we communicate with our audience through a variety of social platforms. Instagram has been a linchpin for our strategy, enabling us to communicate and engage with the canning community using tantalising recipes, providing helpful guidance and showcasing our Kilner ® products.
