Original Cane Ovenware is made from durable stoneware, which warms up gradually to give improved heat distribution. For best results, dishes should be placed on flat trays in ovens for a more even bake. Each piece features air vents on the underside of the base for enhanced heat distribution. The steep sides of the dishes allow for more consistent heat distribution from all sides, and the thick rims allow for easier handling. The pie dish features embossed interior for easier pastry release, and the embossed rims help prevent pastry from sinking back into the dishes.
