Fill the base with 70ml of cold water.

Place the lid into the water to create the seal. Change the water every 2-3 days.

Pack room-temperature butter into the bell-shaped lid. Press it firmly to remove any air pockets. Once the lid is filled, smooth the surface of the butter.
