Rim indent

Step 1: Line up the open gap with the indent on the rim facing the spout.

Step 2: Place one lid notch into the opening closest to the teapot handle, then the other notch should neatly drop through the other gap on the opposite side.

Step 3: Once the lid is placed securely on, rotate the lid to lock into place.
