How the RSPCA helps animals every year.

RSPCA employs over 340 inspectors to investigate more than 130,000 complaints of cruelty and neglect every year. The charity has a network of 162 branches throughout England and Wales and an extensive international network too working with other animal welfare organisations. At four hospitals and five clinics, the RSPCA treat pets in need of preventative medicine or welfare treatments. Each year the RSPCA receives over 1,000,000 calls - in 2018 it rescued over 102,000 animals and rehomed over 40,000. It successfully secured 1,678 convictions, protecting animals against those who break the law. RSPCA is a charity registered in England and Wales and only exists because of public donations.
