VINERS ® THROUGH THE YEARS

1908 Launching as W.&.E Viener, the company established at Tiger Works, Sheffield, manufacturing hollowware such as pots and milk jugs

1925 Re-branded to Viners Ltd and began producing their iconic cutlery

1953 Viners ® became one of the first cutlery brands to successfully execute consumer advertising

1912 The growing Viners ® business moved to their iconic factory building in Bath Street, Sheffield to facilitate soaring demand for their products

1930 Viners ® Ltd issued with a Royal Warrant as Cutlers and Silversmiths to King George V

1957 Leading Designer Gerald Benney CBE was appointed as Creative Director before developing the iconic Studio collection

2014 Viners ® joined The Rayware Group

TODAY The introduction of safety knives and other new categories such as barware and a serving range.

2015 First TV advert was created and aired on mainstream channels such as More4 and the Food Network

1970 Viners ® officially becomes the UK’s largest cutlery manufacturer
